2. Purpose of this website
This website provides information about hospitality consulting services. Contact and audit forms are used solely to submit non-binding enquiries. Sending a form does not place an order or conclude a contract. Any engagement is agreed separately through direct communication.

4. Data processed when you visit
The hosting infrastructure may automatically record technical connection data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser, operating system and status information. This data is processed to deliver the website, maintain security, prevent misuse and diagnose technical faults.
5. Contact and audit enquiries
If you use a form, the information you enter—such as your name, property or company, email address, location and message—is processed to review and answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a possible business relationship.
Forms are transmitted through FormSubmit, an external form-delivery service, and forwarded to the JC Gyger & Partner email inbox. FormSubmit therefore receives the submitted content and technical connection data. The provider may process data outside Switzerland. 6. Purposes and basis of processing
Personal data is processed only as necessary to operate and secure the website, respond to enquiries, take steps requested before a possible engagement, conduct correspondence and comply with applicable legal obligations. Under Swiss data protection law, processing follows the principles of transparency, proportionality and purpose limitation. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, processing is based as appropriate on requested pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests, legal obligations or consent.

Technical logs are retained according to the operational and security requirements of the hosting provider. Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

10. Cookies, analytics and fonts
This website currently does not use advertising tracking or analytics tools and does not set non-essential cookies. The Inter and Libre Baskerville fonts are hosted locally, so no connection to Google Fonts is required when a page is opened. FormSubmit may apply its own technical measures after a form is submitted on its service.
11. Data security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
